Good day Maths geniuses,Todayi wil tutoring on how to find the square root of a Number..

HOW TO FIND THE SQUARE ROOT OF A DIGIT THAT HAS A PERFECT SQUARE Numbers that has a perfect square are numbers that their square root is a whole number without decimal or remainder.. All you need to solve this is your book, biro and your understanding...Below are the steps to take :

1. Subtract odd numbers starting from 1 from the number you want to look for it's square root till you get 0.

2 . Count the numbers of odd numbers you used and that's the square root of the number. That's all

E.g Find the square root of 9

solution 9-1=8

8-3=5

5-5=0 That's all...Now,how many old numbers did i use to subtract..3 right.1,3,and 5 which means the square root 9 is 3

HOW TO FIND THE SQUARE ROOT OF NUMBERS THAT DOES NOT HAVE A PERFECT SQUARE.

1. p>1. Subtract odd numbers starting from 1 from the number you want to look for it's square root till you see that the Odd number available is greater than the number you want to subtract it from

2. Divide the greater odd number by the available number.

3. Count the the number of number you used excluding the one you used to divide.

3. Add the result you got with the answer you got when you divide. You still dont understand? Example: Find the square root of 8

Solution

8-1=7

7-3=4

4-5= will give a negative remainder ,Therefore it will be 4/5=0.8
