UNIBEN SCREENING DETAILS AND REGISTRATION FOR 2017/2018




  This is to inform all students who have show interest in studying various courses in the University of Benin, selected the institution during the 2017 UTME and scored the minimum cutoff marks that UNIBEN 2017 / 2018 admission screening has commenced.
UNIBEN 2017 / 2018 ADMISSION SCREENING REQUIREMENTS:
It is important to meet all the requirements listed below before applying or making payment for screening to avoid disqualification as no refund will be issued.
1.A minimum UTME 2017 score of 200 is set as
2.You must have selected UNIBEN as First Choice in UTME 2017
3.The standard 5 Credits in WAEC, NECO obtained in not less than 2 sittings is required. Mathematics and English are compulsory for most courses and addition 3 relevant O-level Credits but if Credit score in Mathematics is not required for your course of study, 4 other relevant O-level credits will be required. This is not the time for awaiting result. 
4.A Passport Photograph with RED BACKGROUND is required. Do NOT JOKE with this because same passport will be used for student Identity card when admitted. Do not wear eyeglasses of any type or face caps in your passport photo and don't allow your hair cover any part of your face.
Failure to use red background and follow these guidelines can be the only reason why you're not admitted this year.

UNIBEN 2017 / 2018 ADMISSION SCREENING ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
1.Visit the UNIBEN 2017 / 2018 Admission screening advert and click on the "Register For Application " button top right corner.

2.Enter Surname (Father's name) as displayed on your JAMB Slip or result, Enter Jamb Registration number and an active email address.
Your Login details will be displayed. Write it down correctly or Save on NOTEPAD.
Please NOTE: if your forget your Uniben Screening login details, it will be sent to your email so use an email that is working. Create one on Gmail or Yahoo if you don't already have one or cannot access your old email.
3.Login to the portal http://uniben.waeup.org with the username and password given and click on APPLICATION RECORD top right corner to edit your details.  Correctly enter your personal information such as birthday, O-Level result details etc.
For O-Level be sure to click ADD EXAM RESULT and select your subjects and grades obtain from WAEC / NECO
4.Upload your passport with Red Background. The passport size must be less than 50kb. Use image editing application such as PAINT to resize if more than 50kb.
5.Add Payment Ticket and make payment or 4,500 on the REMITA page using an ATM or print payment slip and pay at the bank. The status of your payment should indicate "PAID" when completed.
6.If payment is successful, scroll to the top of the page and Download Uniben 2017 / 2018 Screening past question papers to help you prepare for the screening examination.
IMPORTANT DATES FOR UNIBEN 2017 / 2018 SCREENING
Candidates who wish to register and write the screening  test should be well aware of the following important dates that should NOT be missed:
- UNIBEN 2017 / 2018 SCREEN START DATE:  30TH AUGUST 2017
- UNIBEN 2017 / 2018 SCREEN CLOSING DATE:  9TH SEPTEMBER 2017 (MIDNIGHT)
- UNIBEN 2017 / 2018 SCREEN  EXAMINATION START DATE:  14TH SEPTEMBER 2017
- UNIBEN 2017 / 2018 SCREEN  EXAMINATION END DATE:  25TH SEPTEMBER 2017
- UNIBEN 2017 / 2018 SCREEN VENUE: Ugbowo Campus of the University.
Specific Examination Dates and Venue will be available on 12th September.
Successfully registered candidates are expected to return on that date to Print Acknowledgement Slip and Screening Invitation slip which are both required.
